Fusion Splice & Termination

With the ever increasing fibre optic hardware available to us these days including pre-terminated fibre optic cable, all of Fibrelec's trained and experienced engineers are able to carry out terminations and splice procedures to suit all of our client needs - from 'hot-melt' to 'pig-tail' splicing of multimode and single mode cable.

Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) Testing

Testing of any fibre installation is one of the most important steps in ensuring your installation is working to its full capability.

As an integral part of the Fibrelec live network diagnostics & fault finding process, we OTDR test each installation to assure our customers of the adequacy of their installation. Each customer is then presented with a CD-ROM of all readings for future reference. As an additional exceptional service, we area also able to offer the 24hr hire of an engineer and OTDR equipment anywhere within the UK for certification and fault finding.

Fibre to the Desktop (FTTD)

With the ever increasing need for speed and security, FTTD is fast becoming common in the modern work place. Each desktop is supplied with a small fibre cable from the patch panel and terminated into a wall, floor, or distribution outlet - much the same as the commonly known cat5e outlet. Advantages of FTTD include high bandwidth capability for voice, data, video and network security.
