Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

As required by the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASWA) 1974, Section 2 - employers are required to provide electrical equipment that is safe for use - so far as is reasonably practical.

Fibrelec undertake PAT Testing for schools, colleges, hospitals, offices, landlords, insurance companies - and even in domestic properties, for peace of mind.

Whether it's 1 item or 1,000 items - Fibrelec provide fast onsite inspection and testing to all portable electrical equipment within your particular building. Once complete, we provide you with detailed certification and information on passes, failed equipment, renewal dates etc.

Sometimes it is not practical to test all equipment during working hours, due to busy work places, hazardous areas, teaching lessons or meetings etc. Our off-site service offers our customers the opportunity to simply arrange together all equipment for collection and our test engineers will test and return all equipment the next working day.
